Ferenc Karinthy had various hairstyles during his lifetime. He was well celebrated as a world-class novelist, playwright, writer, translator, journalist and science fiction writer. However, the Hungarian writer was mostly known for his unusual sense of fashion and his delightful character. Before his tragic death at age 71 he was repeatedly in the spotlight of magazines and tabloids because of his exceptionally haircuts.
